We have a single focus -- to equip and prepare ladies to be women devoted to Jesus Christ, to provide a place where women will be discipled and strengthened in their faith. The women at Countryside are intricately involved in ministry throughout the body. Generally, this ministry manifests itself in three areas:

Worship and Study
There is a weekly Women's Study that meets Tuesday mornings at 9:30 in Encouraging Words. Prayer, encouragement, practical discipleship and refreshment are available as the ladies gather to enjoy the blessing and bounty of the Lord. Also, the ladies periodically take part in special worship and study retreats, seminars and groups.

Service

The sisters of Countryside Christian Fellowship serve in a variety of capacities within the Body. A few are listed here to give you an idea of the wide range of opportunities that are available to serve. The women serve as needed for families struggling with an illness or death in the family. Assistance in the planning of memorial services, counseling, extra meals, and general help and assistance are among the ministries provided. The same kind of assistance is provided in the area of wedding ceremonies, wedding rehearsals, and wedding reception coordination. Our women are active in visitation and home ministry, referrals to women's shelters and general encouragement and counseling. They involve themselves in coordinating and preparing for communion services and baptisms.

Special Events

A variety of events take place at the Fellowship through the course of the year, everything from Thanksgiving dinners to our Big Baptism in the park to the Mother's Day Brunch. Many of the events involve more than just the women of the Fellowship, but are often put together by the sisters.
