Glory can be a widely misunderstood concept. In our society glory is generally equated with fame and wealth. In some ancient societies it was generally victory in battle and conquest. In other societies glory is equated with achievements, in buildings, monuments, or the creation of art. However all of those fall short when describing and understanding the Glory of God.
