The Best Defense is Not Defensiveness
In football, the best offense is a good defense. As we walk in Christ, a good defense can devolve into defensiveness, and rather than being good, it simply becomes defensive. Jesus calls us to acknowledge Him boldly, not defensively, giving offense. Bold people in Christ, then, are like Jesus in living out the Gospel. Terry continues to share about this back and forth between Jesus and the mess that was the spreading hypocrisy of the Pharisees.
