Things Above Media
Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. - Colossians 3:1-2
At Countryside we study through the Bible chapter-by-chapter, book-by-book. As we study this way the Lord reveals Himself, His will and His love for us all. Pastor Terry brings something refreshing from the Scriptures as he teaches and shares through the whole Bible. His systematic Bible teaching is funny, fresh, and always right-on.
On Sunday mornings (A studies) we study in one or more verses from the upcoming Thru the Bible Study. This allows us to study some verses and passages in a more in-depth way, and take more time than we would be able to on Thursday nights.
During our mid-week study on Thursdays (B studies) we cover the Bible in survey fashion, generally a chapter or more at a time, studying verse by verse. The Sunday morning and Thursday night expositions are not separate studies, rather, they are two parts of our complete study through God's Word.
Occasionally, we even leave our book-by-book study for a topical study (C studies) of special interest.
As we study through the Bible, we make all of Pastor Terry's teachings available on audio CDs or mp3 format through Things Above Media. These studies are also available for free on our website.
We are also podcasting. Podcasting is a fun and easy way to get your favorite teaching delivered to your home computer. Simply register to receive our podcast updates and the work is done. You can now have the most recent teachings available at your fingertips.
There's also the Things Above Minute, bringing devotional thoughts and spiritual insights to an international audience. The Things Above Minute feature is an extension of the teaching ministry at Countryside Christian Fellowship and can be heard several times daily on various radio stations and networks.
The purpose of the Things Above Media ministry is to help God's people grow in faith and fruitfulness through the study of God's Word. The Scriptures admonish us to "set our minds on things above," and so, in providing this ministry, we seek to focus more of our attention on Him.
