When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.” “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden." The apostles tell us, "now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed. Now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that we shall be like him when he appears, for we shall see him as he is."
