Living by Trust, Not Sight

In the final Sunday message of the God in the Fog series, we don’t escape mystery—we step forward within it. This sermon isn’t a summary. It’s a sending. Even if the fog lifts only slightly, we don’t need full clarity to follow Jesus. We live by faith, not sight. Mature faith trusts without seeing, rejoices without resolution, and walks forward with hope. Join Terry as he shares from 2 Corinthians 5:7, “Living by Trust, Not Sight,” and embrace joy not built on answers, but on the presence of Christ.

Series Information

Sometimes God feels close. Clear. Obvious. But much of life—if we’re honest—is lived in the fog. This series is for those who have questions without answers, faith without formulas, and gratitude without explanations. It’s for the ones who’ve been told that certainty is the goal of faith, but have found that certainty often leads to pride, while mystery leads us back to Christ. In this series, Terry explores what it means to walk with God when we can't see the road ahead. We’ll wrestle with silence, confront the idol of spiritual overconfidence, and learn how doubt—far from being a weakness—may be the very place faith is born again. Because maybe the goal isn’t to see clearly.
Maybe it’s to trust God fully—even in the fog.
