Reading Scripture: Agape Feast and Fellowship

Step further into the sacred rhythm of our shared worship as we return to the table of Christ. Once again, our congregation gathers for an ancient-yet-alive expression of Christian faith: part meal, part meditation, wholly centered in the life we share in Him. This Agape Feast draws us into the heartbeat of Christian fellowship—what it means to live, love, and serve one another in the name of Jesus. As the meal continues, a sequence of New Testament Scriptures reveals the call to humility, encouragement, hospitality, forgiveness, and mutual care. We begin with a quiet echo from the Old Testament, hear Paul’s vision of a living body united in love, and witness Christ Himself take up the towel. At the center is the Eucharist, approached with simplicity and wonder, anchoring our fellowship in the broken body and poured-out love of Jesus. Whether you join with bread and cup in hand, or simply by listening with faith, may this service deepen your hunger for God—and your love for His people, because this is the feast where grace is practiced. This is the table where fellowship is formed. This is Life Together.

Series Information

Believing the Scriptures stand alone and do not require a sermon, we remind of, and reinforce, the singular beauty and necessity of the Scriptures by reading them together as a congregation at certain times throughout the year. These unedited readings use a variety of translations, including the usual translation we use in most gatherings, the NIV.
