The Fruit of the Spirit
We celebrate Pentecost! Fifty days after Easter, a fantastic series of events took place in Jerusalem, among them the receiving of the Holy Spirit among Jesus' followers, giving birth to what we know as the church. The church would be entirely different from the world it was birthed from; it would be like Jesus, and the Holy Spirit would bear fruit among all of Jesus' disciples ever since. Paul gives words to what Jesus birthed in the church by the Holy Spirit in Galatians chapter 5.
