Kingdom Life

Countryside is people who live life together for the Kingdom

We live life together following Jesus in the Kingdom.

Kingdom Life — On Earth as it is in Heaven

Jesus said the greatest among us is the servant of all. The culmination of loving God, and loving others, is being the servant of all. We find Jesus among the poor, needy, downtrodden, and destitute; we find Jesus living a Kingdom life in this old world.

We want to exhibit, proclaim and live out the Gospel in the world and through our love and service to work for the common good, of course. In the kingdom of God greatness is not found in elevating yourself, but in doing for someone else. Jesus came to make all things new; we respond to the good news as we pray and live the Gospel on earth, in the same way it is real in heaven, and join God in making all things new.

But more than that, flowing from our worship and community life, we want to live in the Good News of Jesus’ present Kingdom. Our Kingdom life is on display. Jesus said, "By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." (John 13:35)

We’re not about “attending church”, but about being the church. We believe that God has placed within each of us gifts, passions and abilities to build up the church and live our lives in the kingdom of heaven on earth. At the heart of the kingdom of God is a radical work of justice and reconciliation bringing people together in forgiveness and love under the name of Jesus Christ. We do help our neighbors, we serve our community, even as we engage in the mission of the Christian church displaying Jesus’ love..

Jesus said, “Behold, I make all things new.” We follow Jesus.
