God Purges Sin

Imagine in your mind a group of people who pick and choose what laws to obey because of how it fits with their feelings and lifestyle, a group that comes and goes depending on how active God is in their lives, a group that believes God is here to make their lives easier, and if He doesn't, then time to find a new god to worship. Have a group of people in mind? Today Mark brings us to Ezekiel 5:1-13, and we see that this group of people that we've just described is God's chosen people, Israel itself. The ones who were to worship and love God for all He had done is the same group that tossed Him aside when He didn't do what they wanted, when they wanted it done. As we listen to today's message, we hear how God can take this bad situation and work it for good, something that we can apply to our own lives every day.
