I AM the Good Shepherd
In the first half of John chapter 10, Jesus combines two of the I Am sayings. He claims he is both the gate through which the sheep enter and the Shepherd (the Good Shepherd) who knows the sheep and lays down his life for them. How is the Shepherd a Gate? What makes this Shepherd Good?
