Thanksgiving > Dissatisfaction

In our current society, giving thanks seems to be a rarity. Everyone seems to be upset or outraged at this, that and the other. All of this can lend towards a world view of pessimism and negativity, which can lead to a constant state of dissatisfaction. However as Christians, that is not what we are called to. In our Thanksgiving Day service, Terry takes us through what it means to give thanks, and what giving thanks does in our lives. When we give thanks we are worshiping the Lord. As such when we worship through giving thanks we start to see signs of it. We have a lack of being offended, more patience, less criticism, not as much opining, and we are given a choice to not embrace dissatisfaction. This is part of our calling as Christians. May we all chose to embrace it, and give Thanks.
